Switch between companies, or add another company
What this does
Section titled “What this does”One AysOps login can belong to several companies: your own businesses, and businesses that invited you onto their team. Each company is completely separate: its own customers, documents, team, add-ons, subscription and billing. Nothing is shared between them.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- Switching works for anyone who belongs to more than one company.
- Adding a company of your own is done by the person who will own it. One login can own up to 5 companies.
Switch to another company
Section titled “Switch to another company”- Look at the top of the menu, under the AysOps logo. When you belong to more than one company, there’s a Select company: list there. (On a tablet, open the full menu first. On a phone, tap the menu button at the top left: the Company list is at the bottom of the menu.)
- Choose the company. Each one is listed with your role in it, for example “Smith Renovations - Owner”.
- AysOps reloads showing that company. On a computer or tablet it opens on the Dashboard; on a phone it opens on Today, the phone’s home screen.
If you only belong to one company, the list isn’t shown: the company name appears under the logo instead.
Add another company of your own
Section titled “Add another company of your own”- Click your initial or photo at the top right → Settings, then the Business tab.
- Scroll to the bottom: Add another company. It explains what you’ll set up (company name, address and country, sales tax details) and how billing works for a new company. It also says how many companies you own (for example You own 1 of 5 companies).
- Click Add another company. A popup (Add another company?) lists exactly what happens:

- When your login’s free period has ended, the new company is billed from day one, with its own subscription, payment method and invoices. You’ll be asked to subscribe before you can use it. (If your free period is still running, the popup tells you how many days the new company shares.)
- AysOps AI and extra storage are paid from day one. Other add-ons still have their 7-day free trial.
- Nothing is copied from your other companies, except tax rates you choose to copy on the next screen. Tax registration numbers are only copied if you choose to.
- Tick I understand this company is billed separately from day one, then click Proceed.
- Enter the company’s details (Company name and the rest) and click Create company. Nothing is created until you click Create company.
What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”The new company appears in Select company: at the top of the menu. Set it up like any new company: see First-time setup. Your referral code stays the same across all your companies.
If something goes wrong
Section titled “If something goes wrong”- “You own 5 companies, the most one login can own.”: contact support if you need more.
- I can’t see a company I was invited to: accept the invitation first (see the invitation email or the banner in AysOps), then it appears in the list.
- I have two separate logins with a company each: combine them so they’re under one login. See Sign-in methods.
